"Time and the Moth” are words evoking the passage of time. This is a concept often associated with the fleeting nature of life, reminiscent of the short lifespan of a moth as it flutters through the darkness.

The words embody the idea that even in that darkness, our inner intuition and strength help us navigate through struggles and challenges. The phrase alludes to mortality, transformation and legacy, and the idea that even a short life, lived fully, can still have a lasting impact.

These songs are symbolic of personal transformation and finding one's true purpose. We have a fierce and often destructive desire to experience life's beauty to the fullest even with the painfully short amount of time we have in which to do it.

The journey is worth the struggle.

Paulo Rui and Aaron D.C. Edge have created something special with the “Keep Up the Pace” EP., providing nineteen minutes of urgency. These four songs beg each of us to look at our reflections in the mirror for the truth we seek, rather than at the screens on our devices.

Like moths, we gravitate towards light. But all too often, we are illuminated by media, friends, peers and heroes instead of seeking creativity, hope, or being guided by truth and science.

We need a beacon to guide us through the turbulence of modern life. We long for a warmer, softer and more welcoming beam that shines to all… not just some.

Time And The Moth seeks that light, and once found, reflects it back to others to help them stay in flight too.
