SOLLUST - LAST RITES (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Video Directed by Hugo Taveira
Recorded and Produced by Sollust
Mixed and mastered by Rui Pereira

Lyric

"Smashing all, my deep beliefs
Crushing all my future, in seconds
666 is number of the beast,
But all i need is ninety true priests,
Rise...... UP

Blindfolded, I see nothing but selfishness,
I am a devil dressed as a lamb
I Cry now of regret, for those who want to hear
I want my mistakes to be forgotten
Tears, of hope let them fall from my sad face

Sigo o vento, sigo a luz
Quebro a Quem seduz
Chora em vão o meu coraçao
E Peço, aqueles que la estão

Shame takes away my sleep
The desire to give up takes away my joy
I cry now of regret, for those who want to hear
I want my mistakes to be forgotten
Tears, of hope let them fall from my sad, face

Sigo o vento, sigo a luz
Quebro a Quem seduz
Chora em vão o meu coraçao
E Peço, aqueles que la estão
Sigo o medo, sigo em vão
Quebro a razão
Olho em volta e vejo a luz
E Peço, aqueles que la estão

So long this way behind this pain
Which are my thoughts

I crawl, I kneel, in this mud of sins.
My flesh is rotten my bones break, with regret.

SIGH to hear, myself to stop this, THOUGHTS in a circle
Nothing, IS how, it starts but how it ends
For you I’ll reborn"

Lord Sin - Living Sin
Album: Confessions
Produced / Directed by Pedro Almeida

Formed in 2020, the enigmatic duo known as Lord Sin is back with their highly anticipated new album Confessions, set to be released on December 13th via Larvae. This follows the band's debut album Portrait of the Devil, which came out on October 11, 2020 through Miasma of Barbarity Records.

Blending the raw energy of improvisation with the deep catharsis of doom and psychedelic dark rock, Lord Sin's unique sound is built on a foundation of powerful spontaneity. Confessions takes that rawness and elevates it to new heights, with the album recorded live at Rock'n'Raw Studios in Alfornelos by Bruno Jorge in March 2021, and later mixed and mastered by Ricardo Towkuhsh Rodrigues at ERRE Estúdios in September 2022.

The duo, shrouded in mystery, opts to keep their identities hidden, letting the music speak for itself. The creation of Confessions is an embodiment of their improvisational process, where the initial raw recordings of guitar and drums were captured in one take, followed by the addition of bass, guitar, vocals, and keyboards. The result is an album that maintains the energetic spirit of their debut while offering a more polished yet still organic listening experience.

"THE BRINGER OF DAWN" LYRICS

Wait! Cast your doubts aside
For you have stumbled for too long.
It is time for a new day, my people;
An empire for the wolves and strong.

Cast you doubts aside,
Under the shadow of dying Ymir.
It is time for a new story, my tribe;
To be written on the scrolls of Thoth, the scribe.

It matters not death and misfortune
If we shielded ourselves against doubt.
Sing higher the song of Lusitania,
In our land grieved by drought.

Lucifer rising, a comet blazing the sky
Cometh forth to light the old empire.
And in my right hand, a flaming sword to defy
The bull and devourer - Europa’s defiler.

Set your eyes at sunrise;
Beyond the Tagus, flowing in our hearts.
Set free from your dismay and demise,
A new renaissance of men and arts.

I bring gods enslaved.
Divine artifacts to prophesy.
At your hands, my somber people,
An empire that none can deny.

It matters not howls of holiness
If we slain the legion of the dead:
Those who blindly follow and chant
Their righteousness while leaving a path of dread.

While they sleep, we slay
While they falter, we burn
While they coward, we purvey
The fear promised by my return.

Lyrics:
Range os dentes, grita melodia mórbida
Rasga a pele, aguenta… Sempre, sempre em espiral

Corre

Sente a raiva, sente a dor
Sente enquanto ainda há cor

Mergulha na escuridão
Sem medo do escurecer
Sente a trepidação
Dos sentidos a morrer

Ansiedade a brotar, é de rir e de chorar
Abre os olhos, esforça-te... Sempre, sempre em espiral

Foge daqui, do fim

Sente alento, o fulgor
Acabando já sem cor

Recorda a correria
Dos dias que já não são
E no pináculo da alegria
Sente que não foi em vão

Recordar, sentir que não foi em vão… Que não foi em vão

Lyrics:
Obliterative subsumption
of all primordial life
Stoked with questions and answers not related
Craved with emotions
To pursuit the reason why

A delightful misconception of reality
Our perception thus becomes: We are not what we see

Trapped into a dense cloud unguided and lost...Lost

Set me free, Emerge from above
Beyond our delusion of consciousness

Complex machine, we are

Beyond our delusion of consciousness

A delightful misconception of reality
Our perception thus becomes: We have no free will

Spectral reflectance from our imperfections

O gesto

PERENNIAL DAWN is a doom rock trio, formed by Valter Mateus (ex-Gangrena), Ricardo Silveira (Blame Zeus, ex-Gangrena) and Sandra Oliveira (Blame Zeus). These seasoned musicians work towards gloomier sounds and atmospheres, to simultaneously witness the birth of a new day whilst remaining in an everlasting twilight. An ambiguity of heavy sounds that alternate between half-light and semi-darkness, releasing the listeners from what is expected and introducing a different world, where right and wrong do not exist, and where light and darkness merge and emerge. These are the Awaken. Allow yourself to be both ecstatic and despondent, as truly life is.

LYRICS:

I see you smile

I don’t know why

I’m not over this

I won’t deny

Every time you laugh

I can see why

You’re over reaching

You said goodbye. You said goodbye.

I’ve thirst and hunger

And you’re playing games

I’m undercover

It’s all the same

I’m in between

I’m growing strong

The virus’ leaking

But the world is wrong. The world is wrong.

Pushed in, moving, pushed out, meaning, nothing, I’m nothing, you’re nothing, it’s nothing

I don’t know why, oh I don’t know why…

LYRICS:

I can’t remember my name

I burned the bridges that kept me sane

I toss and turn and I can’t find peace

My mind is filled with dirty words

They keep me calm when the day begins

I work in shadows to find release

I’ll take it slow so I can breathe

My tears roll down as I grind my teeth

I work in shadows to pay the price

I’m made of more than mud and straw

My blood is boiling and my bones are sore

The water’s cold as I break the ice

Nothing’s wrong with me

I’ve left my pieces scattered all around

For everyone to see

Nothing’s wrong with me

I’ll pick the pieces when I’m ready

Until I’m ready let me be
-
